Barrieiro

An exercise in translation: transforming a place into a meaningful brand. Drawing on the surrounding nature, the rural setting and the presence of works by sculptor Maria Leal da Costa, we developed the rebranding of Quinta do Barrieiro, a retreat in the heart of the Serra de São Mamede Natural Park. We reconsidered the name, created a new visual identity and applied it across a range of physical communication materials, building a brand consistent with the materiality and character of the place. This is how Barrieiro Art & Nature was born: an identity that translates the relationship between landscape, art and human intervention.
